Gone With The Wind

Gone With The Wind

My Mother loved this movie and she always loved the name
of the character Ashley.

It really is a very sweet movie and has so many aspect of
how life can be. And also how the will of man to overcome
and even survive.

Love can be a force so strong, yet we all can say to the
witness of so many today do not value its name.
"Love"

May we guard our marriages and keep our hearts safe.
May our love never be gone with the wind.

P.S. I was named after one of these characters.

Ballerina Blues

My Grandmother

It is amazing to realize that so many years can go by, and still miss and think of those
we have loved. My grandmother was the biggest reason I was raised in the Rocky Mountains.
My own Mother and Father wanted to provide a better and safer childhood for myself,
and my older brother.

While we are still young it is hard to imagine that those figures of home and life,
will one day be gone.

Life is a gift: and we must treasure those we love,
and those God has given us.

This is a picture of my Grandmother.
And this very old sugar bowl and creamer will belong to me,
when my own Mother leaves this earth, to be with Jesus.
The little ballerina is from my Great Grandmother.
What a sweet treasure that will be given to my own daughters one day.

See the hankie?
My Grandma always had one of those in her purse!

So Thankful we have an eternal HOME!

My House Dress

I have always loved these wonderful full and flowing dress designs.
I had a few of older formals I had as a child to play
dress up in.

There is such an elegant feeling to look this much like a princess.
I may have to do a search and collect them so I could
Start posting these on my blog.

Ocean Wonders

There is just a feeling of refreshment that comes with, hearing and seeing the ocean. I think it
is like most things, we are around them so long we fail to see the wonder of it all.
I desire to keep my heart song alive to the beating of the waves and my own heart beat.

I feel blessed to be given the wonderful ability to experience life and to ride the waves.
As you all know, life has it's ups and downs.

I am growing and learning to not be caught up in the receding tide. May I not be found,
flowing like the tide. But rather swimming with those that swim in the deep end.
Trusting and obeying Him!
